Man found guilty in Benton County on 11 counts of rape, 6 counts of robbery

KENNEWICK, Wash. – According to a press release from the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office, a man was found guilty on Tue., March 26 for a total of 21 counts of three different charges.

Brandon Lamon Jones was unanimously found guilty by a jury for 11 counts of first degree rape, six counts of first degree robbery and four counts of attempted first degree robbery.

Special verdicts returned by the jury noted that Jones used a firearm for each crime.

Jones was initially arrested on June 2, 2022 for a rape at gunpoint on the 7100 block of West Clearwater Avenue. Following his arrest, investigators were contacted by several other victims leading to his trial.

A sentencing hearing will be scheduled on a later date, according to Prosecuting Attorney Eric Eisinger.
