Man arrested after firing gun in Kennewick neighborhood

KENNEWICK, Wash.-A man is behind bars after firing a gun into the air in a Kennewick neighborhood on the night of Feb. 11.

KPD Officers responded to a weapons complaint on the 800 block of W. 43rd Ave. just before 8:30 p.m. after several witnesses reported the man shooting a gun.

According to a KPD social media post, officers contained the residence where the shooting happened and the suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
