The fire has burned approximately 510 acres as of the latest update and is approximately 10% contained.
At least two power poles have been damaged, but there are no reported power outages. One metal shed has sustained superficial damage, and some farm equipment and materials have been affected.
Despite the challenging windy conditions, backburn operations are underway to help direct the fire away from agricultural areas. Although a helicopter was initially assigned to the scene, it has been redirected to other high-priority incidents.
Residents are urged to stay clear of the area as fire crews, including two strike teams and two dozers, continue their efforts to control the fire. Crews are expected to remain on-site for several more hours
