Kennewick driver arrested for early morning DUI

KENNEWICK, Wash. – According to a Facebook post from the Kennewick Police Department, one person was arrested early Saturday morning for driving under the influence.

A Kennewick police officer on West Clearwater Avenue and North Perry Street noticed a driver without their lights on and driving in the middle lane at around 2:36 a.m.

The police officer also saw the driver hit the strike barrier in the turn lane with the passenger side of the car.

The driver was pulled over and found to be under the influence. They also blew over twice the legal limit.

KPD urges for everyone to plan ahead to get home safely and to call 911 if a driver appears to be impaired.
