Fire burns in Kennewick on Klamath Avenue, 1 injured

KENNEWICK, Wash. –

UPDATE 7:00 p.m.

According to the Kennewick Fire Department, the fire on W Klamath Avenue is now out.

KFD says two trailers were damaged in a fire that started inside a shed, noting that the fire burned a power cable which may have made the fire more severe.

KFD reports that one person was injured and sent to the hospital as a result and that nearby homes were evacuated. Power is currently out in the area.

According to Kennewick Fire Department Deputy Chief Michael Heffner, a fire is currently burning on Klamath Avenue in Kennewick.
