Dwarf tossing bill takes another step toward becoming a law

OLYMPIA, Wash.- Senate Bill 5486, the so-called “Dwarf Tossing Bill,” has now passed out of executive committee and is on its way to a full senate vote.

The bill bans bars and strip clubs from “exploiting those with dwarfism”. Dwarf tossing has been a popular draw for many years, but this bill would put an end to that.

There is one amendment to the original bill: Senators passed a version that keeps the Dwarf Tossing ban in place, but allows for licensed groups to perform Midget Wrestling.

The bill still needs the full Senate and House approval before it would go to Governor Inslee’s desk.
