Driver booked, passenger hospitalized after Prosser crash

PROSSER, Wash.-One person is in custody and another was hospitalized after a crash in Prosser on October 19.

Benton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the three-car crash on Johnson Rd and Gap Rd in Prosser after a 25-year-old driver failed to stop at a four-way intersection.

The driver reportedly hit a car in the intersection and then continued going, hitting another car waiting at the intersection.

According to the BCSO alcohol was a factor in the crash and the driver was booked into the Benton County Jail on suspicion of DUI. A female passenger in the car was transported to the hospital in Prosser for dizziness and to be evaluated.
