Driver being charged after rollover DUI crash on SR 14

PATERSON, Wash. – UPDATE 4:51 p.m.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, the crash is still under investigation.

WSP says a 46-year-old from Irrigon, OR was driving under the influence westbound on SR 14 when they reportedly went off the road six miles west of Plymouth, causing the vehicle to roll.

The driver was brought to Kadlec Regional Medical Center for their injuries. WSP says they were not wearing a seatbelt and charges are pending.

UPDATE 4:29 p.m.

The crash has been cleared and SR 14 is now reopened, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Travel Center Map, SR 14 between Paterson and South Plymouth Road is closed due to an investigation of a crash involving a serious injury.

WSDOT says the road is expected to be reopened by 4 p.m. The closure is between mileposts 167 and 180.
