YAKIMA, Wash.-Comprehensive Healthcare is offering community trainings for individuals to learn to help others, with the goal of preventing suicide.
September is Suicide Prevention Month and Comprehensive Healthcare wants the community to know about its classes and resources to save lives.
Community trainings are available through October in Ellensburg. Registration for the training sessions that run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is open and can be done online.
According to Comprehensive Health the community training sessions will cover mental health first aid, S.A.F.E. suicide prevention for everyone and training for staff and faculty in higher education settings.
