NACHES, Wash.-The public is being asked to complete a second survey on ways to improve safety and bicycle and pedestrian connections along US 12 in Naches.
Naches, the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments and the Washington State Department of Transportation previously conducted a survey in June of 2023 about pedestrian and bicycle activities and improvements they would like to see.
Possible transportation solutions were developed base on this feedback according to the Department of Transportation and now the public is invited to view the results of the first survey and respond to the second.
Open house materials are available in both English and Spanish online and the survey will be available to take October 17 through October 30.
The survey may also be completed in-person at the Naches Town Hall (29 East 2nd Street, Naches, WA) is open Monday to Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
