YAKIMA, Wash.-A community rally in support of the aquatic center at Martin Luther King, Jr Park is set for Saturday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m.
The community rally is being put on by OIC of Washington and other community organizations at the park on S. 8th St. and E. Beech St. in Yakima to demonstrate commitment and acknowledge the significance of the aquatic center.
According to a OIC press release on the rally, it will be an opportunity to connect with community members who share a vision of community-betterment and will also serve to inspire further fundraising and development of the aquatic center.
