FINLEY, Wash.- Danielle Helvie-Juarez is a art teacher at River View High School and Finley Elementary School. Her students call her Ms. H-J and she was awarded March’s Classroom Makeover from Toyota of Tri-Cities.
Ms. H-J teaches art in two different buildings. She starts her morning teaching fourth graders, second graders and kindergarteners. She then makes a trip to the high school to finish the second half of her day.
Ms. H-J was nominated because of the passion and artwork she is able to bring out of her students. She uses her own money to fund art projects and supplies in her classroom and said she loves to give students an outlet to be creative and express themselves.
