RICHLAND, Wash.–A man with a warrant for his arrest from Kennewick police fled from an attempted traffic stop on Friday.
A pursuit was not initiated because the officer knew the suspect’s identity, but Richland Police Department officers found the suspect’s car at his home in Richland, according to RPD. The suspect fled in a second car when officers arrived and almost collided with an officer.
Not long after, an officer saw him on foot returning to the house and initiated a foot chase, according to RPD. He was booked into the Benton County Jail on his warrant with three other charges including Felony Eluding, Reckless Driving and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.
