BENTON COUNTY, Wash.- A boat with the hull and VIN number scratched off was recovered by Benton County Sheriff Deputies Hansen and Ohler on the Columbia River.
The boat was seen near the Oregon border and was removed from the water.
With the identifying numbers removed, BCSO believes this boat was dumped intentionally. The Sheriff reminds the community that dumping old boats in the river is against the law.
