Applications for the paid internships will be open from Dec. 8 through Dec. 18. and Washington and Oregon BLM will host two Zoom workshops to help students navigate the application process.

According to the BLM, anyone 16 years or older and enrolled or soon to be enrolled in school, is eligible to apply for one of the internships.

“Applying for a job with the federal government is a little different than applying for other jobs,” said Amanda Roberts, BLM Prineville District Manager. “I’m excited to help students from our community get involved!”

The two workshops will feature an hour-long presentation by Roberts on building a good resume for federal jobs and there will be about 30 minutes available for attendees to ask questions.
