YAKIMA, Wash.-Spring Barrel Weekend, featuring over 30 Yakima Valley wineries, is set for the weekend of April 26-28.
Spring Barrel Weekend is a Yakima Valley tradition where attendees have the opportunity to taste vintages straight from the barrel, as well as other new releases, according to Yakima Valley Tourism.
“Many of the wine makers will pull tastes straight from the barrel, giving you a sneak peek at how their young vintages may mature,” said John Cooper, President and CEO of Yakima Valley Tourism.
Several participating wineries will have food vendors, entertainment and other events throughout the weekend. No ticket or passport is required for Spring Barrel Weekend, however, different wineries may have tasting or event fees.
