1 killed, 2 injured in drive-by shooting south of Liberty Park in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – One person was killed and two others were injured in a drive-by shooting in East Central Spokane Wednesday evening, authorities said.

SPD did not provide an update on the conditions of the two other victims.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), officers are looking for a blue 2004 Honda Odyssey with Washington license plate number ASH3415 in connection to the shooting. If you see the vehicle, call 911 and don’t approach it. SPD said the suspects may be armed and dangerous.

Detectives with SPD’s Major Crimes Unit are processing scene. SPD said it is possible there is risk to public, because they do not have a suspect nor a motive.

7th Avenue east of Helena remains closed.

Three people were injured in a drive-by shooting south of Liberty Park Wednesday evening, according to the Spokane Police Department (SPD).

SPD confirmed officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of East 7th Avenue for calls of a drive-by shooting and found three victims upon arrival. Detectives with the department’s major crimes unit were on their way to the scene as of 9 p.m.

7th Avenue east of Helena is closed while SPD investigates.
