YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima Town Hall Speaker Series featured Academy Award-winning filmmaker Jimmy Chin on Wednesday, April 23.
Known for capturing extraordinary imagery in high-risk environments, Chin shared insights into his filmmaking process.
“Every film, like you have to bleed for it, like you have to fight for it every single day. It’s hard to describe, like, and we don’t have time to go into it, but like literally every step of the way and every film I’ve ever made is a battle.” Chin said.
The Yakima Town Hall series looks to enrich the community by inviting nationally and internationally recognized speakers to Yakima.
