Yakima sees three inches of snowfall overnight

YAKIMA, Wash. – Yakima residents woke up to a snowy morning as roughly three inches of snow fell overnight.

The snow began just before 5:00 p.m. and continued through the night into the morning hours. Initially, the snowfall made driving conditions challenging for morning commuters.

However, the City of Yakima quickly responded to the situation. Snow plowers worked diligently throughout the afternoon to clear the roads. As the sun peeked through the clouds, it helped melt some of the snow, further improving driving conditions.

By the end of the day, the roads were much clearer, allowing for safer travel around the area. For more updates on weather conditions, stay tuned to NonStop Local.
