YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima Police Department had an active month in December, according to their Facebook page.
Officers conducted over 2,200 traffic stops, with only half resulting in a ticket. The department also arrested 39 people for driving under the influence.
In addition, police responded to 155 accidents around the city, including 82 intersection-related collisions.
