The main phone line was restored according to the Yakima Police Department.

According to the Yakima Police Department, the department’s main phone line is not functioning properly when receiving calls.
This issue was first reported around 1 p.m. on March 31.
While the issue is being resolved, all calls will be directed to the YPD Services Division at 509-575-6200.
