Yakima, WA – The Yakima County Development Association (YCDA) is set to host its Bilingual Business Accelerator Conference on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Legends Casino & Hotel in Toppenish.

This free event aims to support local business owners in their growth journey with a series of interactive workshops, expert panels, and networking sessions.

The conference is tailored for Yakima County businesses that have been in operation for at least two years and have fewer than 30 employees.

It will feature a keynote presentation by Jon Smith, YCDA’s executive director, and Amy Martinez, CEO of the South-Central Workforce Development Council.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on breakout sessions focusing on marketing, financing, innovation, and scaling strategies. The event is designed to foster connections with industry experts and fellow professionals, providing invaluable resources for business growth.

“This conference is designed to equip business owners with the resources and connections they need to grow their operations and thrive,” said Jon Smith.

Spanish translation services will be available based on registration, ensuring accessibility for all participants. The conference is supported by YCDA’s investors, the Community Reinvestment Project, and grants from the Washington Economic Development Finance Authority and the Washington State Microenterprise Association.
