YAKIMA, Wash.–The Lions Pool will host a free “April Pools Day” to encourage water safety in the community.
“April Pools Day” will include an hour of instruction for water safety, life jacket use, rescues, boating safety and hypothermia awareness, according to the City of Yakima. The day will include an hour of swim time and prizes.
The event will be from 1–3 p.m. April 12th at Lions Pool. More information can be found at the Yakima Parks website’s aquatic section.
