KENNEWICK, Wash. – A crash during the evening hours of April 29 involved a car striking two poles, causing minor injuries to the female driver, Kennewick Police said in a release.
A city light pole and a Benton County PUD electrical pole were hit in the area of W Deschutes Ave and N Kellogg St.
Police said a witness reported the vehicle traveling southbound on S Kellogg St at approximately 40 mph before the crash.
Officers on the scene developed probable cause for DUI, and results from a blood search warrant are pending, said police.
