U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has intensified security for Super Bowl LX ahead of Sunday’s event at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, San Francisco Bay Area.

CBP’s Air and Marine Operations will enforce flight restrictions over the venue with low-altitude surveillance flights alongside U.S. Air Force jets, delivering “eye in the sky” intelligence.

CBP’s pre-check security flights this week used AS350 A-Star helicopters for agile, low-altitude reconnaissance of the venue perimeter, while UH-60 Black Hawks provide tactical support, interception capability and rapid threat response.

On the ground, officers will deploy border-style X-ray scanners to inspect all vehicles and deliveries for weapons, explosives, and contraband, while targeting counterfeit merchandise as part of a federal “Team of Teams” operation.
