WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – West Richland has been recognized as one of the 10 best small towns to live in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure, according to real estate experts.
Cari McGee, a realtor based in Tri-Cities, highlighted the town’s rapid growth and appeal.
“West Richland is growing faster than any of our local towns. New developments are going up, new schools are being built, and new shopping and restaurants are following,” McGee said.
McGee also noted that West Richland is considered one of the safest cities in Washington. “People from the west side of the state sometimes move here for the weather—we get about 20 percent of the rain that Seattle gets—and because their dollar goes further, especially when it comes to real estate,” she explained.
The median home price in West Richland is about $500,000, significantly lower than Seattle’s prices, which often exceed $900,000, the report said.
