PASCO, Wash. – The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has allocated $1,793,000 for the Clark Street Improvements project.

This funding will enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety with ADA curb ramps, high-visibility crosswalks and bicycle lanes.

Preliminary engineering for the project is set to start this fall. Community engagement is planned for 2026, with construction expected in 2027.

The funding comes from the Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety Program, supported by Washington’s Climate Commitment Act (CCA) and the multimodal transportation account-state appropriation. The CCA aims to reduce climate pollution, create jobs and improve public health.
