RICHLAND, Wash. – A fire in a garage in Richland’s Willowbrook Heights neighborhood was swiftly contained by firefighters.
Richland Fire Captain Andy Sabin said the homeowner noticed the water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold the night before the February 20 fire.
When crews arrived, Captain Sabin said smoke was billowing from the open garage, and the water heater was ablaze.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire. No injuries were reported.
