TRI-CITIES, Wash. – Visit Tri-Cities is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Excellence in Service Award, which honors outstanding tourism-related businesses in the region.
Sponsored by Battelle, the award recognizes businesses that enhance the Tri-Cities experience and contribute to its status as a premier destination.
“Tourism thrives on personal connections, and it’s often the warm smile, the thoughtful recommendation or the extra effort from our local businesses that make a trip unforgettable,” Kevin Lewis, President & CEO of Visit Tri-Cities said in a release.
The tourism sector significantly impacts the local economy, generating $643.3 million in visitor spending last year, supporting 5,886 local jobs, and contributing $79.9 million in state and local taxes.
Nominations are open until September 30, and anyone can nominate a deserving business by visiting here. The winner will be announced at the Visit Tri-Cities Annual Meeting and Tourism Showcase on December 3, 2025.
Past winners include Frichette Winery and Oatis Outdoor Adventure Rentals, among others, known for their dedication to making visitors feel welcomed and valued.
Lewis added, “Recognizing excellence in service isn’t just about celebrating individual achievements; it’s about reinforcing the culture of hospitality that drives repeat visits and fuels transformational growth in our region.”
