BENTON COUNTY, Wash.–Van Giesen is closed between Terminal Drive and 38th Street because of flooding.
The Yakima River rose this morning, and the road now requires a closure for all lanes, according to the Richland Police Department. Police will provide updates as they become available.
Police advise drivers to not try to drive around barriers or on roads covered in water.
