WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Postal Service is at risk of losing its largest customer, Amazon, which could significantly impact its revenue.
Amazon has partnered with the USPS for years, with a contract that reportedly brings in about $6 billion annually. However, the USPS continues to face financial challenges as fewer people use traditional mail services.
In response, the USPS plans to accept additional bids for distribution center access to mitigate the financial strain.
An Amazon spokesperson commented on the situation, saying the uncertainty might prompt the company to explore other options.
