BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – Benton County sheriff’s deputies responded to two separate crashes on Tuesday, March 25.
Deputies said the first crash occurred on Missimer Road near Prosser when a vehicle collided with another car pulling out of a driveway. The female driver of the first vehicle was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The other driver involved was unharmed.
The second crash took place on Tyrell Road, south of Richland. A motorcyclist lost control of his bike, veering off the roadway. He suffered minor injuries and was transported to Trios Hospital. Deputies noted that excessive speed appeared to be a contributing factor in this accident.
