WASHINGTON – Trooper Sarah Clasen pleaded not guilty at her arraignment, where she was released on personal recognizance under specific conditions.

Clasen appeared in court just after 8:50 a.m., entered a not guilty plea at 9:02 a.m. and left by 9:15 a.m. Her attorney argued in court that she has not violated any court-imposed rules and attended the proceedings as required.

The court has determined she is not a threat to the community. As part of her release conditions, she is prohibited from using or possessing non-prescription drugs, alcohol or THC. Additionally, Clasen cannot leave Washington or Arizona and must drive with a valid ID.

Key dates have been set in her legal process. An omnibus hearing is scheduled for October 22, followed by a pre-trial hearing on November 12. The trial is set to commence on December 15.
