RICHLAND, Wash. – Over the weekend, 4,000 attendees took advantage of Ben Franklin Transit’s (BFT) special event shuttles during the Art in the Park Festival and Tri-City Water Follies, BFT announced.
BFT said the successful turnout is just a preview for next month’s Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo, where the shuttle service will be free.
The shuttle will offer a convenient and eco-friendly way to reach the Fair, with six park and ride locations available across the Tri-Cities, BFT said.
From August 19-23, shuttles will operate daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. from various locations, including the Knight Street Transit Center and Queensgate Park & Ride.
