TRI-CITIES, Wash. – A Tri-City Americans game on Tuesday evening against the Seattle Thunderbirds was suspended after an Ams defenseman suffered a serious injury following an on-ice altercation.
A fight happened early in the second period, resulting in defenseman Terrell Goldsmith requiring emergency medical attention. Goldsmith was brought to a nearby hospital and is responsive.
More updates on Goldsmith’s condition will be provided by the team when available.
The game will be rescheduled to a later date.
