RICHLAND, Wash. – The City of Richland is beginning its rehabilitation project on Stevens Drive on Mon., March 17, the road’s first improvement project in 20 years.
Traffic on Stevens Drive from Lee Boulevard to Swift Boulevard will be reduced to one way in each direction. Commuters are encouraged to use alternative routes throughout the project duration, though business access will be maintained.
Mansfield Street between Stevens Drive and the Columbia Playfields will also be affected.
The project will repair the road, add bump-outs, implement ADA-compliant ramps, install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon crossings and create bike lanes.
The project is expected to be complete by the end of September.
