KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Three Rivers Convention Center is the place to be this weekend for tattoo, body art, ad piercing enthusiasts, as it hosts its annual tattoo convention alongside seminars, acrobatics, special deals and a complimentary car show.
The event kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday, offering attendees a chance to dive into the world of tattoos with a variety of artists and activities.
Friday runs from noon to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday start at 11 a.m. Sunday’s festivities end at 6 p.m.
Admission is $15 dollars per day for entry, but those who are interested in mingling with the crowd all three days can get a three-day pass for $35. Children five and under get in for free.
In addition to tattoo artistry, the New Generation Car Club will host a car show in the parking lot on Sunday morning.
The first 100 participants entering a car will receive a free ticket to the tattoo show.
Jerrett Spaeth from Monarch tattoo, an artist who has been part of the event for many years, emphasized the unique opportunities available for both new and seasoned tattoo collectors.
“I mean, the main reason to come to the show is to get tattooed. If you’re a first timer, it’s a great opportunity to come in and research a bunch of different artists and collect your first piece. If you’re somebody that’s a seasoned collector, you can come in and add on to your collection,” said Spaeth.
For those new to the tattoo scene, the convention provides a welcoming environment with 50 artists ready to guide and share their work.
“If you’re looking to get your first piece, this is the place to go because you’re gonna’ have so much under one roof,” Spaeth added.
The Three Rivers Convention Center is ready to welcome everyone interested in tattoos and car shows for a weekend full of creativity and community.
