BENTON CITY, Wash. – Three red mountain wineries are currently nominated for USA Today’s 10 Best in the Nation. Those wineries are Kiona Vineyards and Winery, Frichette Winery and Terra Blanca Winery and Estate Vineyard.
Kiona Vineyards and Winery, located in Benton City, first began planting their grapes in 1975. They are currently up for the USA Today’s Best Wine Tasting Room. They’re competing against over a dozen other submissions across the country, like Michigan, California and New York.
Frichette Winery was first established in Benton City back in 2013, all by the flip of a coin. The family-owned winery is currently competing for USA Today’s Best Wine Club. They’re up against Wine clubs from across the nation, including those in California, Delaware and more.
Lastly, Terra Blanca, who established their winery and vineyard in 1993, is up for USA Today’s Best Winery Restaurant. The Vineyard Grill, which they use for weddings, lunches and other events, is up against other locations all across the nation.
Voting ends Monday, July 21. To vote, visit USA Today’s website here and select the winery you most want to win!
