Suspect arrested following stabbing and crash

The 20-year-old suspect was arrested after he “intentionally struck” a pickup truck. He was charged with vehicular assault, with charges for the stabbing pending.

KENNEWICK, Wash. – Kennewick police are searching for a 20-year-old man involved in a stabbing and a car crash. Officers were dispatched to Bob Olsen Parkway around 11:30 p.m. after a two-car crash and an assault on West 27th Avenue.

The suspect reportedly stabbed a woman several times before intentionally hitting a car traveling in the opposite direction. Both the driver involved in the crash and the woman who was stabbed are in stable condition.

Bob Olsen Parkway is now fully open. Police are continuing their search for the suspect.
