RUSSIA – Russian authorities have imposed restrictions on FaceTime as part of their ongoing efforts to tighten control over the internet.
The state internet regulator accused the service of being used to “organize and conduct terrorist activities,” among other things.
Apple has not yet commented on the situation.
The move reflects Russia’s broader strategy to regulate internet use within the country.
