
RICHLAND, Wash. – The city of Richland is transforming into a holiday haven with the return of Winter Wonderland 2025, offering a month-long celebration filled with lights, parades, and festive activities for the whole family.
The opening festivities kick off on Friday, December 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at John Dam Plaza, Howard Amon Park, and the Richland Community Center. Highlights include the Lighted Vehicle Parade, Countdown Light Show, and appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Visitors can enjoy the Dancing Light Show nightly from December 5 to January 2 at John Dam Plaza. This magical display, choreographed to music, promises a memorable experience for all ages.
NonStop Local’s Laynie Erickson will emcee the opening event, featuring food vendors, holiday crafts, and the chance to see Santa’s reindeer up close.
Howard Amon Park will showcase a Holiday Light Display and a Lighted Boat Parade, weather permitting.
The Richland Community Center will offer holiday crafts, free hot cocoa, and performances, including a steel drum band and a holiday dance performance by Thrive Dance Studio.
