
RICHLAND, Wash. – Richland School District has been named the 2025 Hope Holder of the Year by Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW).
This award celebrates those fostering health, justice and hope in their communities.
The accolade was presented during LCSNW’s annual Holding Hope event, highlighting the urgent need for youth mental and behavioral health services. Richland School District was honored for its leadership in expanding mental health support for students and its partnerships with community agencies.
Superintendent Dr. Shelley Redinger expressed gratitude, stating, “We are truly honored to receive the Hope Holder of the Year Award. This recognition reflects the incredible work of our staff and community partners who are committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our students.”
