RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland City Council is expected to approve a construction contract for a new project to enhance the outdoor space at the Richland Public Library.
According to the resolution, the project will create an outdoor children’s area, featuring a small amphitheater, sidewalks, fencing, and seating, to serve as a public square.
The new outdoor space aims to expand public amenities and gathering opportunities at the library, fulfilling one of the strategic goals outlined in the library’s 2023-2033 Strategic Plan.
Vincent Brothers LLP submitted the lowest bid of $410,342.75, said the city’s bid report.
The contract is expected to get the green light during the council’s April 1 meeting.
