RICHLAND, Wash. – A burglary in the 1300 block of Williams Blvd has prompted a reminder from the Richland Police Department (RPD) to keep homes secure.
Investigators said homeowners were startled by noise inside their house and called 911. Responding officers arrested a man for residential burglary after finding he had entered through an unlocked door.
RPD emphasized the importance of community cooperation in preventing crime. They encourage residents to always lock their doors and cars.
“If you see something, say something,” the department advised, urging vigilance to help maintain safety in the community.
