
RICHLAND, Wash.–The Richland Police Department Traffic Unit is searching for a suspect involved in a hit and run incident February 19 at the Safeway on Gage Blvd.
Store footage showed a dark blue 2-door coupe hit a pedestrian before driving away at a high speed, according to RPD. The pedestrian was unconscious for about half an hour.
The suspect is described as tall and was wearing a sweatshirt with a hood, dark pants and white shoes, according to RPD. The driver initially parked after hitting the pedestrian and approached them before returning to the vehicle and leaving.
The vehicle suspect had an operational left taillight, but the right was delayed when turning on, according to RPD.
