RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Police Department released its 2024 annual report, revealing zero officer-involved shootings last year. Out of nearly 2,000 arrests, there were 25 use-of-force incidents.

The report highlighted a decrease in cases of murder, manslaughter, assault, robbery, and burglary. However, forcible sex offenses and arson cases increased.

George Washington Way was noted among the top three most frequently crashed intersections in Richland.

Richland’s City Council will review the report in their meeting Tuesday.
