RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Police Department and the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission held a focused patrol on Fri., March 7 and Sat., March 8, resulting in three arrests.
Officers focused on areas with speeding and street racing complaints, including Keene Road, Columbia Park Trail, SR 240 and George Washington Way.
Officers made 74 traffic stops and three arrests.
RPD says to expect regular speed emphasis patrols as spring and summer arrive.
