
RICHLAND, Wash. – Officers from the Richland Police Department arrested a man Tuesday morning for allegedly breaking into and stealing from a convenience store.
At around 3:15 a.m., officers were tipped off through an alarm at the Swift Stop on Swift Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found that the front door was shattered and that the cash register, lottery tickets and cigarettes were stolen.
Surveillance footage showed three suspects in a black car with duct tape covering the license plate. Flock cameras were then used to find the car based on its description.
RPD stopped the car in Kennewick at 6 a.m. and arrested the driver while the car was impounded for a search warrant.
