RICHLAND, Wash. – The Washington Medical Commission accuses a Richland obstetrician and gynecologist of unprofessional conduct and inappropriate behavior towards patients while employed at a women’s medical clinic.
According to a document from the Washington State Department of Health, the commission alleged Dr. Mark Mulholland made body-shaming remarks and implied sexual comments between December 2022 and August 2024.
The report also claims he inappropriately touched patients without consent and made comments about their bodies unrelated to medical purposes.
Dr. Mulholland could face disciplinary actions. He has been given the opportunity to defend against the charges if he chooses, the document said.
