RICHLAND, Wash. – A Richland OBGYN accused of assaulting more than 100 patients in his care over decades was suspended from providing any medical treatment to women by the Washington Medical Commission until the investigation is complete.

More than 18 lawsuits and 10 formal complaints have been filed with the Washington Department of Health against Dr. Mark Mulholland and Kadlec Regional Medical Center where he worked.

“We welcome the Washington Medical Commission’s decision to bar Dr. Mark Mulholland from treating women while it investigates allegations that he sexually abused his patients under the guise of providing OBGYN care,” Mallory Allen, attorney for more than 45 victims and partner at PCVA Law said. “Our clients have filed more than 12 lawsuits against Kadlec and we will be filing more in the near future.”

The lawsuits allege that Kadlec was made aware of complaints about Mulholland for years and failed to investigate and act to protect patients.
